DAYLTYE by DERBIGUM harvests direct sunlight through its dome and directs it though the sealed light pipe to enter and efficiently light the work area, reducing the need for electric lights. With two patents assigned and more pending, DAYLYTE's are designed to maximize light output in low sun conditions to provide all of the benefits of natural light and can reduce your energy costs for lighting to ZERO for significant portions (or 10 hours) of the day.
To further reduce energy cost and consumption you can incorporate high intensity fluorescent (HIF) light fixtures along with wireless light controls to allow the end user to reduce power consumption further with motion sensors and/or time of day control. When the set points in the control system tell the master transceiver that sufficient light has been intorduced, half of the lamps in each fixture turn off. When the second set point is reached, the balance of the lamps turn off.
