Bitumen Free Roofing Membrane

DERBIPURE is a bitumen free commercial waterproofing roof membrane with a white reflective surfacing.  It is the first truly eco-responsible roofing membrane in the world composed of vegetable oil and pine resin designed to the same longevity and quality standards as tranditional modified bitumen membranes. 

The rising petroleum costs and reduced quantities of quality bitumen launched DERBIGUM's intensive research for an ecological and sustainable alternative for bituminous roofing membranes.  DERBIPURE is the fruit of that exploration combining natural raw materials with a white reflective, pH neutral roof covering.  The passive cooling effect of the white roof covering allows energy savings through reduced energy consumption, while reducing CO2 production during its entire life span.  Additionally, the pH neutral surfacing allows for rainwater harvesting and recycling. 

DERBIPURE is 100% recyclable as the raw materials used to produce the white vegetable membrane come from renewable resources sourced from the United States.  Recognized and awarded the Cradle to Cradle® certification by the EPEA (Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency), DERBIPURE writes history for pioneering a pure modified membrane without using bitumen.

The DERBIPURE technology is patented and will allow DERBIGUM to develop more ecological alternatives to bituminous.
